Anyone know of subframe replacement bushings? Polyurathane possibly? And expierence replacing them ?
Since I've put in my subframe spacers, theres a large energy transfer (as expected) and a clunk when letting off and back on the gas.

energy suspension makes bushing inserts.
and you can get solid bushings from pdm, they are a major pain in the ass to install though.
something might not be installed right, becasue the spacers basically isolate the bushing, and make it as though there isnt one there.
but there will be more noise too with spacers, because the bushings take up alot of abuse from the diff, and now those arent really there anymore.

...or the lash on your diff sucks. I got the same thing with the first S14 diff I put in. I thought it was my subframe, but I switched it for another with less lash and it was fine.

Diff "Lashing" huh ? I can't honestly tell you about that. I don't know. I thought about switching it out though. The car was an Automatic before hand so it might have something to do with it. It's annoying, but I can live with it for now.
Well.. My bushings are shot. No two ways about it. When Sean (FCP) and I put the subframe spacers in the bushings were crushed like hell and looked like battered potatos. So they could use a good replacing.
I'm to understand if you freeze any bushing prior to install they are easier to install.
Well I guess I'll have to add this to my list of things to do and fix. Sheesh.. Projects. :nono:
First, I have to locate the cool whooshing noise my turbo is making. Possible boost leak or something is loose. It never ends.....
the point of the solid inserts is to utilize the old piece of shit broke bushings in there
uras makes polyurethane pineapple inserts available in like 2 or 3 different heights

I'm assuming they are installed differently.. or am I incorrect?

the whole point of subframe spacers is to delete the bushing
