It seems that my 06 STI pulls to the left. Under maintain or accel it seems to pull to the left. If I take it out of gear it seems not as bad.

I took it to the dealer and they said it is torque steer however they did not put it on the alignment rack. The dealer also said that they drove another car and saw the same pull to the left.

Anyone heard of this before? Should I dismiss this?

mine didnt do that....

where did you buy it?

in MY opinion the Stealership for the most part is going to try and blow you off, and if there is a problem will try and get some money. iether from you or SOA

How is your tire pressures? Check the pressure then look to see if you have any nails or soemthing that could be causing a slow leak. If that is normal then find a new peice of pavement that you know is smooth and see if it still pulls. If so then have Reeves do an aligment. The car should not be pulling unless factors that were metnioned above happened. Did anyone esle drive your STI besides you recently?

I agree with RobbC and all above: alignment, tire pressures, torque bolts to 75 (or whatever your owner's manual says). Make sure those are all verified. Only after those have been verified - should you start to speculate.

Torque steer my a$$, you 've told them it happens even when not accelerating. Voice your doubts to them, they aren't inspiring confidence.

you should stop driving it like a pansy ..its pulling to the left because you drive like a girl :-P

(hope the alignment thing fixes it.. lol.. if it doesnt.. i'd take it to Mastro).
