Why?
why not?
Innovation comes from doing strange shit to stuff. Its the engineer in me.
i take it you get bored alot?
no, between classes, work, and my wife, I have no time left to do anything.
I just had an hour to let off some steam and its either beat my meat or beat some wood. Wood just seemed to be more productive.

only four 6.5's? pff.
http://www.edesignaudio.com/installs/images/edboxes/47.jpg
try 32.
edit: after closer inspection, i can't tell if that's for 8's or 6.5's. either way, that guy's got way too much time on his hands.

You know it, im cruising with 136 square inches of boom in the trunk. Thats more than 20 square inches more than my single 12.
Actually, if the box was the correct volume(.6cu ft) they would hit just nicely.

I've got 16 6 1/2's in my 240, on 600 watts. They are custom made for me...11mm of Xmax, FS of 32hz. Just messing around, we did a 134 db on music, and they play plenty low. Haven't really got around to tuning it yet, so there's more in there...

I've done 2 JL 6's in cars before and it sounds surprisingly good....about the same as a decent single 10. Done a couple trucks with 4 JL 6's and you'd swear it was a pair of 10's or even 12's.

im sure some real subs would sound good but these stock speaker are killing me, in the box they are in they are POUNDING at like 500hz which is annoying as gell ;) thanksfully tomorrow I can build another box for my 10
