All I need is my oil filter relocation kit and some more tuning. It is driveable though, working out the kinks but here!
(oh yeah my off the turbo intercooler pipe will be worked on, its awfully close to the downpipe, so i dont need comments about that.)

Hey. Numbers... considering stock is about 100 to wheels, ill be hoping for atleast 150hp @ 7psi. When i get my CT27 upgrade and little more boost, hopefully around 200hp wheels. Im running the emanage ultimate, tuning it myself, but if you guys know of any shops around the tampa area that will tune this, let me know!

looks like you already have a wideband, since you are only tuning fuel curve its something you could get away doing yourself and saving yourself some money... just make sure you are in good A/F's and it shall be good.
what kind of compression are those motors running at?

Im doing my best. Im tuning through Ignition and Injector. But sometimes its either way to lean or to rich, im just trying to find the median. Its a 10.5.1 comp rate

That's interesting. When I read the topic I was expecting a 3S. Good job man.

Thanks. A 3sgte swap would of been about 5k more on this car.

5s-fe?
5 s f T e ;)
5s-fe's are 9.5:1 compression.
setup looks very nice, i'd say tuning it yourself will help save, but being the 5s is pretty sensitive to boost, you might want to get someone to fine tune it, but for 7psi or so you should be okay. i never got finished with my old project camry, would have been similar to yours. is yours an auto or 5 speed?

The biggest issue with 5S-FE's(and 3S-FE in the gen2 Camry) when boosted is people seem to worry about fuel, but not timing. So you have boost coming on but the computer is still on NA timing maps advancing the timing at WOT, thats why alot of them go pop.

Bingo.
Right now its running really rich, but as a precaution i retarded the timing under boost. This friday im getting it tuned at XAT. Here are some more pics.

lol your telling me. its not as much as you think, but it works. there is a lot of stuff in the way so clocking it down and doing pipe that way will be a pain.
Its an auto, Im going to talk to the guys at XAT about a swap in the summer :D The auto tranny is holding up however

Hey. Got it tuned. I pulled 155hp @ wheels @ 8psi on the auto tranny. I think thats pretty good on a ct26... Only a few problems. Stock exhaust limits the boost to 4psi, so boost controller allowed me to run higher. Turbo seals are bad so its blowing smoke :(. back to searching for a new turbo.
Heres a few pictures.

Well if it ever goes bad you could have a 3s head put on that 5s block and install the 3s oil squirters for just a few hundred more at the machine shop. I used to know what it cost to make that work but its so long ago I dont remember and its prolly outdated.
Looks like fun , nice job man . I personally like those body style camrys alot.

Thanks!
Car runs great, making 155whp @ 8psi which was a little over 55% increase on a stock ct26 and a economical engine! I backed it down to 4psi (my stock exhause is limiting... with the wasgte running normal it only makes 4psi. Im waiting for my boost controller. My next step is to buy another ct26, its burning oil like a pos. I want to do water injection and run to 10psi, should be decent.
I want to do the 5sgte a lot. Its more work than just a head swap, im not so sure about the ECU, do I use the 3sgte one? headgasket and coolant holes on it, oil squirters would be great. also the custom pistons and rods too... will be about the same a 3sgte swap in the end and the 3sgte would probably be a little safer, no?

Open up the exhaust, 10psi and water injection id's guess ~200whp, but you'll start to strain the auto then.
Get your tranny flushed and get a nice tranny cooler, that will probably go a long way in keping your auto happy.
