The 240's were disapointing, good looking bodies on both but some of the sloppiest sr swaps i have ever seen, one of them was using a empty oil can as a catch can, they were really ghetto rigged.

Wow that looks really cool. Maybe after "the movie" comes out and big companies know what drifting is, we could do something like that. Who were all the drivers? I don't know who any of them are. That BMW is the coolest ;-)

I'm not sure what 240's you're referring to but it seems the two black and orange Batlground ones.

They are well above the average SR installation. Both of the Batlground cars are extremely clean and well done.

I think the swaps were okay. But they are meant to do a job not look cool. They were both solid and functional looking. I'm glad they are function first and clean second.

As a car they seemed to be very well built.

As a car they seemed to be very well built.

Hey when they look like proffesional cars from the outside they should be the same on the inside, they have obviously spent alot of money on the outside of thier cars and then you get to the engine bay its a real disapointment. Now one of the battegrounds the one in the picture did look alot better then the other. The other one was still running stock piping, using a plastic jug as a catch can, vacum hoses loose, i mean the car wouldnt even pass tech a a drift event.The point is not to look cool maybe i used the word clean or sloppy to imply that i wanted it to look tuneresque. The thing is its half ass, you spent the time to brace the shit out of your car but you didnt bother to buy some atlima fans/flexalites make a custom shroud instead of your clutch fan, or making your own piping, or investing in some catch cans. It wouldnt cost that much or invest that much time to make the car far more functional and not so ghetto.

Hrmm, the Batlground cars are practically identical under the hood. The picture you posted is the car Ernie Fixmer was driving, it's Verena mei's old drift car. It's well built but I would absolutely agree that it could use some help under the hood.

yeah ernies engine bay looked crap. I do cleaner swaps than that all the time. But it was solid. I thought you were talking about the s14's. And btw, the clutch fan may cause a little drag but it has superior cooling power and there's nothing wrong with that.

So who was into the mustang? I thought it was okay but you could tell it was a new drifter. It's driving seemed less refined. More smoke though :)

wow do all a favor go to bed....anyways yea that was some pretty good stuff from what ive heard i had some friends go told me noone was really beating there motors kinda takin it easy on them. wish i could have went had a friend that had tickets and everything. ohh well theres always more chances that will come around in the summer.

You losers should have went, it was so fuckin awesome. What I saw:
-Red s13 lost rear valence
-Red z33 backed it in easy to some tires, but that Chick driving was hot
-s14's very clean, one tickled the tires with some unda but no biggie
-mustang had some crazy engineering behind it, turbo mounted under the car
-white z33 might have even been running open diff and was underpowered but still did well
-BMW did well till something broke half way through
those fucking indy cars are loud as shit....

That mustang had a STS rearmount turbo kit.I was talking to the guy seemed preaty cool.It was a stock motor except headers,intake,fuelrails and the STS kit,Made 500hp+ on 7 psi And only had rear Kenny Brown suspention.Thats more impressive to me than a 240sx drifting.Plus with the 4inch "downpipe" it sounded nasty with the loud ass turbo spool.
