Where oh where hath the LS1's gone????

I frequent all the local spots on saturday nights like I used to, 3-5 years ago I used to ride out with other LS1's in packs of 10 or more, now they are scarce as hell, I'd be lucky to see one even driving around on a Sat. night. I'm a ricer now but where the hell did the rest of them go?? I swear a mild bolt on LS1 with spray would practically run the streets now days....its kinda sad when imports that barely trap 120 are getting labled "king of the streets". :roll: I think Ima hae to get another Camaro to represent out there. Ricers now days just dont know.....

Everybody pretty much got out of the game bro. Al is waaaay detuned (stock motor now), Dan sold his car and noone runs on the streets anymore. Too much at risk these days.

as for me... i went bike. you'll find me saturday or sunday morning out on north runs (or south, or east... :lol: ) to inverness.... good times and no street racing tickets.


of course now i'll prob kill my fool self but still.


also been checking out this drifting thing... its pretty damn cool to even go watch friends do. this sunday in orlando is another...you should go check out jaun and anthony doing it... good times

Its about a 40k mile stock motor that I bought for $1500 or so.

its in my garage on a stand. I also ditched the T56 and went with a TH400.

So the car is pretty much the same but very reliable and still pretty streetable. I drove it to Brandenton two weeks ago and with that motor :stock longblock with a mild cam 228/232 and 918 valve spings, el cheapo pacesetter headers and Y pipe, full Magnaflow catback it went 11.7 on motor and 10.4 on an NX 100 shot with a 1.38 sixty foot.

Im gonna put a 200 on this thursday. I may or may not put the 415 back in. The car is fun right now.

I own a LS1 2001 Camaro SS, and I am one of the few left out there. There was 4 or 5 of us at the track tonight in Martin Michigan. I also do the street thing if I feel I must. Domestics are a dying thing in street racing it seems since the F-Body was erased, but I fight to keep the thought alive. We are out there, but we are the few now. Imports have taken the racing over. The big three now seem to just be a big joke....:(
