Default Bad TPS???

So I went through the diagnostic procedure to correctly set the TPS on the throttle body. Going through the FSM, I checked that the TPS was getting enough voltage... 5.11V Then I warm up the engine and let it idle as I test the voltage from the light green/red stripe wire to the white wire... and it gives me 5.13V... no matter how open the throttle is.... i'm having issues with idle dropping as well as running a little rich...

does this mean my TPS is bad??

it's a s13 redtop

I've never done it before, but I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to measure the voltage between the white wire and ground. By the way, the car doesn't have to be running to test the TPS. The ignition just has to be turned to "ON".

i tried it out again.... positive on the middle wire... ground on the engine ground.... and it's giving me 5.13V.... It's seems like the TPS is somewhat "stuck" at the WOT position.... what do you guys think??

Not too familiar with the wire colors on the Sr's. but if you have ignition on, and you put one lead on a good ground, and the other one back probed into TPS connector one of the readings should vary its reading with the throttlebody changing positions. If not...you're either not doing it right, or your TPS is bad...they're a dime a dozen man. just try to replace it. Have you tried to take it off and just inspect the potentiometer yet?

I've taken it off... and couldn't see anything wrong with it... it's sealed so i couldn't see inside it...

you know anyone have a TPS they can throw my way or sell to me??

i think i need someone to check my car out.... cause i'm not sure if my O2 and my IACV are working correctly either....
