Jonathan R. is my name, I'm new to the Forums here. I'm a Mazda addict but appreciate all cars. My Sig has my vehicles. I have a good bit of knowledge with regards to 3rd gen Proteges but am always trying to learn more. Anybody involved with the 1.6 ZM-DE engine in the 99-00 pro, any experiences/lessons learned is definitely appreciated. I'm currently stationed in Virginia Beach in the NAVY, but will be heading back home to Sarasota in July when my time in the NAVY is up. My future plans include a 2nd gen Miata and an FC, and I'm toying with the idea of a custom built Rotary Motorcycle (FAR into the Future... I mean they did it with a Viper engine right?). I am pleased to make everybody's acquaintance.

Yeah it seems everybody has come through this area in some way or another. Man I hate Virginia though, too many restrictions on modified cars. I can't wait to get Florida tags on my MSP. Nice 240 BTW.

Mine is Spicy Orange... #1454 of the Originial 1750.
What's yours? Is it the 2003.5? I have some questions about the differences, mainly if the Fog lamps being replaced by Air intakes makes a noticable difference.

Check out www.msprotege.com for anything that, you want to know about protege's.
But,about your question about the 2003.5 "Air Intake's" as far as, I know they just have a diffrent lower lip and, they have fog light cover's instead of fog light's.
