well thursday night i finished installing my new engine "wrx heads/sti shortblock" and i fuck love it its so much more responive. its only sucks that i cant get on it since i have to break it in. does anyone know if there are any common problems that happen to a hybrid engine?

i am using a vf34 and a ecutek tuned by pdx.

The only issue you could run into is the compression. IIRC the compression on your new setup will be around 9:1. Thats gonna be good for turbo response but it will suck for pump gas power cuz of detonation. More compression = more heat, more heat means detonation is more likely to happen. You can do 3 things to help out. 1. bigger intercooler, 2. meth, or 3. N2O. I would prefer to use meth cuz its cheaper than N2O to refill and the inital cost is cheaper than a new IC. Other than that enjoy AWD smoke shows :)
