I just bought a new car and it came with an uninstalled 2g MAS, injen intake, filter, adapter, etc. Well, I was looking at it today and it seemed as if the outlet (to the turbo) was not quite right (for a 1g). So, I looked into it and it turns out I have a 2g Injen intake, filter, etc. I still want the 2g MAS, but I'm willing to trade the intake, filter and adapter plate for a 1g setup. Or, if there is no one willing to trade, I will sell it for $150 obo (I think they're $250 plus s/h or tax when new. The one I have has some scrapes, though. Here's a pic of the intake I have (not the actual piece, but an example):

Really? I just looked on dsmtuners and found this (http://www.dsmtuners.com/parts/product_info.php?cPath=3_141_53&products_id=471)

The link states that the MSRP for this intake is $220 WITHOUT the filter and adapter (mine comes with the Injen filter and adapter) and I've seen them listed for $250 plus shipping. But, this one is used and has a few scrapes. Hence the $150 obo price.

Where did you find this intake for $45? If it is sold somewhere for $45, that's where I'll go for my 2g MAS-in-a-1g intake, because the one I want sells for $150 everywhere I've looked. So, it must be around $30 wherever you found the intake I'm selling for $45.

Anyway, the price is obo and I have no use for it. So, it really is OBO.

I've now received two patent lies about the retail value of this intake. If someone wants to link me to a vendor that sells this intake for at or below $150, I'd love to read it. In the meantime, don't try and bullsh*t me about what this intake costs. I'm not lazy or stupid.

okay DSM tuner.. the elbow that goes from the sensor to the turbo is 45$

the filter itself is like 20-30$

I'm sure the "injen" intake is expensive though

Yes...

Yes it is.

I've provided the link.

In fact, the only $45 2g intake I saw on dsmtuners was a pipe that is coupled with two hacked pieces of the original rubber intake (it's just a straight pipe). This is NOTHING like the intake I'm selling. I'm selling the Injen intake on that very same page (a page that I provided a link to in a previous post). Where's your link to the $45 brand new Injen intake that I'm selling?

The Injen Intake sells for $250ish everywhere I've looked. I'm sorry that it is so hard to believe. Again, I'd be more than happy to view a link to an ad from a vendor selling it for significantly less.

I'm receiving PMs about this now filled with all sorts of whoppers:

"...my uncle owns this performance shop and they sell it for .02 and a hand job, I swear."

Give me a break.

I want to see a link with any further posts questioning the retail price. Make offers, but don't try to get the price lowered by trying to trick him into thinking it's worth less than it is.
