ok, my friend is trying to convince me that his a 95 saturn(stock internals) with a ford probe turbo and kit at 9 lbs. will beat my gst with small 16G at 12lbs open dp. what do you think. his theroy for the saturns win is power to weight. i weigh 3200 he weighs 2400 hes saying my about 80hp more is not enough to make up for the weight diff.

yeah, it should be close. Driver skill will be the biggest factor I think.
Someone posted a comment in the other thread - yes, the fastest one is in the 11's. kinda sad, but we make our own stuff, so it's not the best, you know. But hey, we give it hell trying.

Forum racing is gay. Take it to the track and find out. Realistically, nobody wins when you're racing grocery getters though.

I'll tel you from experience...even with the big 16g, the gst will get spanked if your buddy knows how to drive, install a good turbo system and tune.
