Lookin good. So you're doing another box on the other side as well? What are you doing for an amp rack?
That sucks about the windshield, I had my driver's side window, and mirror shot up by a pellet gun in one of my cars once. Bastards.

I'd match the vinyl exactly to whatever color the plastic trim panels are in your trunk...looks like dark dark grey?

I would probably wouldn't paint them... lately the trend in the big shows has been to get more away from the painting and stuff and back to the basic clean, stock look of vinal..IMO...at least thats what i have been seeing.

Maybe do the trunk floor in the color of the inserts on your seats. That would atleast tie the whole car's color scheme together.

i get a diploma in collision and refinishing technology and automotve tim and upholstry consisting of 1500 hours of lab and theroy. along with that i have goten 14 icar points and icar mig welding certification. i also have a ase certification for ac service and hasmat. i have a few job offers but im looking for somthing in tallahassee because my girl is goin to fsu and i wanna move up there with her. mony depends on what i decide to do, as a collision tech you can make anywhere from 30k up. all depends on ur skill and how busy the shop is. pay is a flat rate so if you finish 2 hours of work in an hour you still get paid for thos 2 hours. as a painter i can make more but usually that is somthig you work up to. most dealierships start you out doing small dents repairs and stuff like that. and i dont even know what i could make doing upholstry. i have an interview with a autotrim shop when i get back so ill let you know what kinda mony that feild is offering. but most likely i would like to do upholstry on the side. rite now my main interest is painting because that seams to be what im the best at but eventually i would like to open my own shop doin all kinds of custom fabrication. anything from painting, grafics, tint, audio/vidio, upholstry, roll cages,.....ect. pretty much anything. i really dont like doing repair work but thats whats gonna pay the bills.

You should look into Sound Advice. It's commision based and you set your own prices on any custom work. Judging from the skills you're learning, you could make considerably more than $30k a year once the word is out. There's SA installers who have established themselves and work on only 2 or 3 celebrity's cars a month, but the labor is over $20k alone per vehicle. Plus they offer very nice benefits, which you probably won't find at most smaller shops. PM me if you want some more info.
