me and a few buddies decide to call it a night after hanging out on the bridge for a lil bit. as im leaving there are 2 cars lined up ready to race.... agrey ef hatch civic and a black v-dub. they take off and im a few cars behind them when i get on it and i ended up passing both cars. i got up to about 100 when i left off and pulled into the right lane. i start to coast till about 60 then proceed to which was thought to be the end of the night. fuck was i wrong. i look in my rear view and see headlightsin the left lane which looked to be over a quarter mile behind. about 3 seconds go by and i look up again and the head lights got really big really fastim still cruising at 60 when all of a sudden the car behind the first car i saw pulled into my lane. so we have me in the right lane..... silver prelude in the left lane and the victim.... black trans am. the black trams am switchs into the right ln behind me and i guess he never saw me. he had no where to go. he locked up..... ass end came around to the right side me the car. as me he sliding he comes within a cars distance from hitting me. my guess.. he had to have been ding 125+. i accelerated to avoid him hitting me when i watched and heard him hit the left lanes wall.as soon as the impact occured i was at full throttle and parts of the car flew past my car as i was accelerating.... when he hit the wall the lifted about 3 to 4 feet in the airand was rotating. car landed and slid to the right side of the wall and then slid against the wall for about 30 feet....... both the passenger and what looked to be his girl friend both walked away from the accident with minor injuries. in the pics you can see both him and her.......

scary shit guys... just a reminder.. be careful with what you do... he was not racing anyone just speeding for no reason. i know i had just got done racing but theres a limit that you hit and thats when you quit. obviously he wasnt ready for the limit. glad he and his passenger are both ok. he almost hit me. after knowing that.... i look at street racing totally different right now.....

Ok, I just found out this is a guy from my country his name is Ervin, and told he is a really nice guy. I told my friend not to try to justify him or his actions and I don't doubt he is a nice person, but he had too much in that car and he couldn't control it.
I was suppose to race this car which was claimed to have 500 whp but then I found out it was more like a little over 400, but I don't think it will be happening now.

He started modding his car when Fast and the Furious came out and he is pushing on 30 years old and he just learned how to drive a stick like 3 years ago on a 5 speed Cavalier. Big mistake thinking you can drive with only 3 years of experience under your belt and a 400 whp car, specially a RWD car.

One thing I hate it this:
I am getting ready to race, and there are people on my ass and you know they are not even gonna be able to keep up, but still they are on your ass.
The reason for this is, that since they know they cannot keep up they wanna be close as possible to be able to see it, but it sucks for people racing.
Another thing, when a jackass, who is obviouslly faster than the 2 people racing passes them just to be a dick and show them that he can.
I never do that shit!!!!
I am lucky I am at the point where my car is fast enough and people that ARE faster than me are not STUPID enough to do this.
I had CBRTRX, follow so many damn times and not once does he pass the 2 guys racing even tho he can with ease.
DATRUTH, never passed when me and Carlos raced.

But the BEST race I have had so far is with DARIO just recently.
Me and Dario took off and X and Dave were behind us. X and Dave STOPPED like 100 yards behind us and stopped all the traffic and me and Dario went at it multiple times without having to worry about anyone on your ass or whatever.
Anyways to make the long story short, sorry for the long post guys.

Me on the other hand, if it ain't a big race going most of the time I don't even follow because why fuck up my car or my motor just to see 2 slow ass cars race.
I cannot partial throtlle it is either nothing or all.

I'm so not perfect, the other weekend I had to fly home from Rockledge to make it to work on time. The only thing I did not do was tailgate, cut people off anyone, or rush up on someones tail. 85 - 90 mph.

+1. Everyone knows that the streets are not tracks. Anyone who says that should be pistol-whipped. Everyone already knows that, so repeating it will NOT be effective. Street racing is illegal, everyone knows that as well. The reasons people do it:

1) Convenience, the race is there, the strip isn't
2) Time & Money: It takes both time and money to go to the strip
3) Rules & Regulations: Goes along with time and money. People that barely hit the 13's generally don't want to bother spending the money to buy a lid to wear at the track. People running 10's generally don't want to have to buy a cage. We all know it's for safety, but people generally don't want to HAVE to do it.
4) Confidence: The belief nothing bad will happen since you have your car under control

That last bit is true, but it's a result of lack of knowledge. Just because (if you think so) you have your car under control, doesn't mean that you have everyone else's [saying that does more than saying the streets are not tracks:nerd: ] Street racing or not, if someone is driving a car beyond their's or their car's means it should be a crime. But it's not. So as long as people take the time and effort to make sure the road is clear (preferably desolate or closed), and to make sure only the people who are racing are on it, it will prevent almost all mishaps. Also! Don't invite/allow a couple hundred people to go, the more people you invite the more jackasses come along for the ride. Okay, I apologize for the long post and ranting for so long. TRIM57 (Jasmin) is talking a lot of crap about me, and he's driving one of the most worthless buckets on the street. You're telling me how I can't handle 400RWHP under the hood. Listen moron, I had invested 22K into that car, and when I say invested, I mean improved it in every aspect possible: suspension, transmission, engine, exterior, interior, safety (brakes, 5-point harness, sway-bars, strut-bars, panhard bar, torque arm, driveshaft safety loop, ....) and too many other things to list (that's why my girl and I walked away from the accident).
You're saying that I learned how to drive stick 3 years ago,... damn, I can't believe you're saying all of those things. My driving skills are very good, but no matter how good of a driver you are, unexpected stuff like this happens.
At least I used to ride in style as much as I could, unlike U in your turbocharged garbage-can.

Many people talk shit about many different cars, although they have probably never driven or actually owned that car. BIG MISTAKE. U could find a flaw in every car if u purposely looked for it. Once U find a car that U like, u try to customize it for your own needs. Talking shit is easy, but proving yourself is what counts.

I could talk shit about rice cars all day long, but I won't.
Just know one thing: "Don't (wrongly) pre-judge people (especially the ones who U don't really know). Respect the hard work, time, money, and dedication which they have invested into their cars." When U start doing that, then you'll know that you have grown up.

wow I'm late getting around to reading about this..


people have been street racing since the first 2 cars happened to end up stopped next to eachother. its going to happen.....

the part that gets me the most is back when i first started all the cars were just as fast if not faster and setting on junk tires up front, drum brakes, slicks and raced on little ass roads and even back then we all raced on the old gandy where there was no extra space for shit. all the cars weighed a lot more and handled way worse and still no one ever did shit like this.... now it seems to happen alot. i can count at least 5 cars that have hit the wall in the last few years and all of them are slow. just no reason for it.
