just wanted everyone to know there is a 240sx meet every friday night at 9:00. and goes till when ever. we usually have bout 14 ppl come out but just wanna get the word out to ppl that dont know so if you got a 240 weather a beater or a beauty come on out and have fun with good people. meet is on Ridge road at the new Sonic by the bowling alley.

New Port Richey? Why did I think this was in Brandon. That's ok, I can still make the drive. Up where I live currently there are no other 240s and barely and modified cars period so I wanted to check out some other cars again.
I can't wait to get back to normal life in Tampa again.
I will be coming from the North Dale area near Fletcher so any ideas on the best way to get there?

there is only 1 sonic on ridge road you cant miss it if you make a right and go down it off little and end up on 19 turn around and look you cant miss it its only a 3 mile strecth from 19 to little on ridge rd.

Friday meet:

If your coming from north, take 19 south into port richey make a left onto ridge road offa 19 sonic is on the left before regency blvd..

If your coming from south take 19 north into port richey, right onto ridge rd and sonic is on the left before regency blvd (approx 2 miles down the road)..

If your near I-75, take it north or south depending where you are (port richey is between spring hill, and tampa as far as 75 exits go...

Take the 56 or state road 54 exit take 54 west until you reach little road, go right on little till you reach ridge road, go left on ridge rd sonic will be on the right hand side after the 7-11 at regency blvd....

If by any chance you get lost, stop and ask directions... Everyones a map around here...

What a night. I never made it because of a problem with my car on the way. Bryan "ZenkiS14_Drifter saved the day by coming by with his TEIN coilover wrenches which I left at home and his jack. We raised all 4 corners to get the car on a flat bed so we could get it home from my friends house. I have water coming out of the drivers side rear near he head/block area. Tomorrow we will try to resolve this issue in the day light. It does run but I might have blown my 1.2 Commetic head gasket and/or warped my head in the process.
Hopefully one day I will make it out there.

Yeah it was a fun night alright! Bryan saved the day though having the Tein wrenches and some other tools we were without.

Saturday was tear down day to discover when my boost controler didn't hold and my car went to 32psi I blew my commetic 1.2 metal head gasket and pitted my head at the back of the 4th cylinder. It doesn't look repairable so I am getting another head from Driven Concepts this week and should have the car back up and running by this weekend.
