Hello all,

I'm not exactly a newb to the forum, but I just recently turned 16, and I just recently got a car, so Im haven't exactly been active on the forums all that much.

I saw there were a bunch of local events posted in the forums, and I didn't see any for Mercedes owners. Does this mean there aren't any? Or does it really matter? I just don't want to show up to a local event with my stock Mercedes and have all the import tuners laugh at me, lol.

If there aren't infact in groups or local events for Mercedes owners, am I free to make one? If anyone has any answers to any of my questions here, I appreciate your help, answers, and time.

I'm very involved in local meets & the import scene and I honestly cannot think of one Mercedes meet locally.

You're more than welcome to come to Quaker Steak & Lube on Thursdays...that's TampaRacings biggest weekly car meet. All kinds of cars show!!

It's located in Clearwater/Pinellas Park. It's a car show/dinner. www.pinellaslube.com

We don't have a Mercedes-specific forum...but we do have an "Other Makes" forum, which includes information on BMW, Mercedes, and all of the other brands that don't get enough traffic right now to need their own specific forum.

It can be found here: http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/other-makes/

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask or PM me.

...and I know that forum isn't very active, but maybe you can invite your friends along to make it a little more sociable?

Thanks a lot, that really helps. Maybe this summer Ill get out to some of those meets if I can.

To answer your question BoarderX, I got a 98 Mercedes E320. Its a four door luxury sedan. Nothing sporty, but its still a beast, still a great car. Ill be posting pics in my garage soon.

We're Mercedes Owners ML500 and SLK32 AMG. Good luck with yours (you'll need it).

Im not sure what you mean about the good luck, they're amazing cars. We should perhaps start some mercedes forums in here or somthing, if we can get enough people involved. They don't even have to be Mercedes owners, just people that really like them. PM me if you have any ideas.

And Senor Honda, I agree about what you say about it not mattering what the car is.

I ment good luck, ours spends more time in the shop then on the road, seems to be common with any new benz. Gotta love it
