It seems like there was a car show every weekend somewhere last year. Now that I have something to show off, there are no car shows for classic muscle cars.

1st thursday of every month - Sun City Center Wal-Mart
3rd Saturday of Every Month - Down town Plant City.
It's too bad that there isn't just 1 big show (http://voxens.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=show&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewreply.php&pin=14044) every week instead of 14 puny ones. I know a guy out in Arizona who goes to a show (http://jelmin.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=show&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewreply.php&pin=14044) they have every Sat night and takes pictures and posts them on a website. The turn out is unreal!!! 300-400 cars EVERY week. No matter what you like it there..Street Rods, Pro Street, 1000 point restored Muscle Cars, 1100 HP Supra's, motorcycles..It's incredible. And they come from a 50 mile radius I'm told.
We have the weather and I know the cars are out there. I wish someone would try and pull it all together. I know that if such a thing existed here guys would get their cars out of the garage and show (http://mnokrut.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=show&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewreply.php&pin=14044) up.
Here's a couple of pics just so you know i'm not
exaggerating.

Old Town gets like that. I agree, it seems like there are way too many small shows and not nearly enough big ones. If you can stomach it, theres a Mopar show at Suncoast Chrysler this weekend.
Where is Suncoast Chrysler?
Personally I like everything so I'd go to check it out if it's not too far away. Probably best to leave the Camaro at home though..LOL!

There's a car show in Oldsmar this weekend. I just saw the sign they had up last night. I guess it's Friday at whatever city park they have. I might clean up the old SS and head out there.

A friend of mine went to Plant City this past weekend. I guess they shut Main St down on the 3rd Sat of the month, and the place really fills up. But he says get there early (4pm) to get a good parking spot.

i like all the small shows. because all the same people show up week after week. so i jump around to different shows so i don't see the same people/cars.

+1 for Plant City's show. It's HUGE. Dade City has one, too, but I can't remember which Saturday it is. I want to say the first Sat. of the month, but I'm not sure. I'll have to ask my FIL. It's a pretty big show, too.
