My curiosity is up. What do you want to look at inside the engine bore?

If all you need is a light to drop down through the spark plug hole
to look at the bore, mine is an instrument light bulb soldered to two
solid core 22 ga. wires, clipped to the battery.
Caution: do NOT rotate the cylinder while light is down the hole.

If you need a surgical quality tv receptor/scope like they put
up your butt, for instance, good luck on finding one. We can
however, make one from some VCR/TV stuff.........

Bob: Well, it's a boxer engine, so the plug holes are a bit more involved to get to and not open to visibility of any sort once the plugs are out unless there's a flexible camera involved... but the goal is to examine the full surface of my piston tops. Light + flexible camera required.

Check into the pinhole security cameras attached to a VCR/DVD/Monitor. Some of them provide their own light source. Should be less than the 2 grand previously mentioned..................*if* you can't get a loaner locally.-Bob

With unleaded gas, Most piston tops only have a thin flakey layer of carbon that almost blows away with an air nozzle.-Bob
