alarm dont make any sound !!!

out of nowhere today, my alarm (viper) siren decided to give up...now when i press buttons on my keyless entry transmitter, the lights flash, the door locks/unlocks, but no chirp...i also tried opening the door while the alarm was armed to see what would happen...the corner lights and the indicator light started flashing, but no sound again... can anyone help me ? thanks a lot

Sirens dont last forever. It might be still covered under warranty. Have you talked to the shop that installed it? If you have no luck there I believe I have a few spares. I can get you one installed for 15 bucks. I will check in a few minutes to verify I have one.

you can use a volt meter to verify your getting power to it, it may be a connection coming loose. if you have power then ^^^^^^^^what he said.

check for a ground, most installers ground the siren with one of the screws that hold it on, and after a while, the become loose and a bad connection, also have seen the connection on the end of the wire corrode and fall off - no ground, check for power, check for ground

problem is solved now , it was the ground cable ... thanks a lot everyone !!!
