So I was finally able to get to the shop and actually work on my car.
Bought a newer head and I'm going to rebuild it once I bring it to Cedric to resurface it and clean it up. Going to paint the block with VHT as well as paint the chasis grey while the engine is out and do a basic tuneup on the engine and suspension along with a 12v AC and heater system that will sit under the dash replacing the entire factory setup. I will finish my engine harness as well with the hacking and soldering.
As for the surface rust on some of the components, the car was in saltwater from Hurricane Charlie for about 16hrs. The flywheel has seen about 2500-3000 miles on an unsprung 6 puck HDXT clutch with a 400 mile break in period

The AC and Heater set up cost around $350 for the parts. The dimensions are that of a shoe box for the heater. can't find the AC dimensions.

I've been rocking it out since I bought the coupe 2 years ago.
The steering wheel is still alive too. I love that thing. I need to get a new extension though. Ill probably just get the detach. hub adapter

The Nismo Power Brace started rusting before it ever saw the salt water. The Silver paint on it is extremely thin and loves to chip away.
Buck, do you have a link to the AC (maybe on a vender site). I want to see this thing.

I'll have to look at the catalog at work tomorrow. It' might just been a swampy though. I'm gonna have to double check on it.

Found out a little more on the standalone ac. You still have to have a condensor for it, it weighs quite a bit, and it takes up a bit of room. So I'll be doing the heater only and later on figure something out about the AC. Biggest concern would be making the pump motor quiet.

Just waiting on Cedric to get the valves in and finish the head. Any day now.

I also scrapped up a 3" collector and some 4 wire GM O2 bungs from work. I have 8ft of 3" tubing sitting in my room and a 3" hole saw sitting in the car. If anyone has a new 3" resonator they want to get rid of let me know.

More Parts keep coming in. So now I have a completely brand new Nissan timing set, oil pump/cover, rebuilt head, valve cover ventilation oil catch can, and subframe spacers. Just need to pick up some primer paint and scrapers and get to work.

I will be prepping my car for paint this weekend and maybe finish priming it.

And yes thats a gallon of SCAT in the red can...
Since I can't afford to go to Nebraska right now I guess I will be rebuilding the bottom end too. Might do some pistons as well. Found some nice 14:1cr pistons with a nice dome that puts the thunderdome to shame. Throwing a lot of ideas in the air right now. and I have a little time to think about it.

This is taking some tome because I'm basically disassembling the entire car. every bit of suspension, fuel cell, fuel/brake lines, clips, everything.
