I ust got a GREAT job offer in Tampa and I'm on my way down! I'm gonna need some help determining where to live! My office is in the northwest Tampa/ (maybe near the Carrolwood area) off the Veteran's expressway. I NEED A REALTOR! and reccomendations on good neighborhoods!

I'll be working right nearby at the intersection of Veteran's Exp. @ W. Water's Ave. I'm looking for a rental house with at least 2 bedrooms and 2-car garage. Probably around $750-1000 for rent (I'm hoping). I eventually will buy something after I get familiar with the area.
TAMPA is gonna ROCK!!

I'm comming from Tallahassee, and i start on the 20th. So I need to find soemthing quick! I've heard that I need to up my price range to find anything decent, I'm used to living in Tallahassee on the cheap! I really really really want a house but will settle for a condo or similar with a garage.

Welcome to TR. You might try checking the Tampa papers for a place.-Bob

you can find a pretty nice place int hat price range, but good luck finding a place with a garage. Unless you come across a house. i believe the camdens are apt's and dont think they have garages.
might try looking into the Westchase area also. I just got into a apt at "the preserves" on forest lakes blvd for 920/month 2bed/2bath 1070 sq ft. no garage though. They are super nice though.

Just did I hope he responds! I'm leaning towards a house now but it's hard to find the right one. I keep reading these horror stories on apartments on this site:
