Hi,
I am have been in the Tampa area for about a year now. I want to put together a Chess Club in Tampa. I want to get a group of people together to and play chess. I want to get a designated area to play. I guess at first I will go to several book stores in the Tampa (South) to see if they are willing to host a weekly event. Once we have a steady group of people showing up I would like to do some fund raising and get a store front to play in on a daily basis.
I want people of all playing skills to come together and play for a few hours every week. We can learn and teach each other different strategies that we all might not know, and learn tips of the trade from other people.
This is just something that has come to me in the last few days, and I will be looking into this as soon as time will allow.
