First, do some research on either www.dsmtuners.com, www.dsmtalk.com, and www.vfaq.com. These sites should anser most of your questions and give you a background on these cars as well as the differences between the 90-92.5 and the 92.5-94. www.DSMTuners.com has a model guide on the front page for every type of DSM made (this is probably gonna be your best source of information). Aside from that it will all depend on what type of model you want, DL, ESi, TSi, fwd, or awd. There are a ton of options and it all depends on what you plan on doing to it. Do you want a daly driver or a weekend warrior? Or something in between? Be sure to know, for the most part, what you want before you pick one up. Also, there's no real difference between 1g Talons, Eclipses, or Lasers besides the tailights and badges. So if your not dead set on Talons, dont exclude the other two. Its pretty hard to sum up the pros and cons in a simple list but just know that theres a huge aftermarket for these cars, you can find the vehicles and parts pretty cheap, and there is an abundance of sites for you to resource and ask for help if you need it. But, your also dealing with cars that are at least 12+ years old so beware of rust, ancient parts, and things that would need to be replaced at whatever mileage your vehicle is at.
