Seriously considering parting out one of my project cars.
It really has waay too much stuff for me to list out totally. I'd sell it whole(but doubt anyone would pony up the cash for it), or part it...
I feel like someone is punching me in the heart typing this ad, but I never have the time for it, and dont have the money with owning 4, maybe 5 project cars. Its just sitting in storage costing money.

1.8L turbo engine- 2.0L ABA crossflow head. Head was rebuilt with new guides, valve job, etc about 500 miles ago. Bottom end has about 1500 miles on rebuild with forged pistons, and all German bearings and gaskets. Has serpentine belt setup, late model 90A alternator. Can be run with or without A/C. Complete from throttle body to oil pan except for injectors, turbo and exhaust manifold. Also has Autotech(or similar, cant remember) adjustable cam gear and billet fuel rail. I never had it dyno'd but with the TDI tranny(rediculous freeway gears, cruises at like 2800RPM on interstate) it could break the 15" tires loose at 55mph...Will run 20+psi of boost on pump gas all day long. $875obo

Callaway exhaust manifold. Is double drilled for either a T3 or T4 turbine housing, and Tial style 38mm gate flange. Manifold has been severly ported for excellent flow. Very nice manifold, I have been using it for about 4 years. $225obo

Front Mount Intercooler Setup: Procharger intercooler made for a 5.0L Mustang supercharger kit, all piping to run from the turbo to throttle body, HKS Bypass Valve. I dont care if I sell this intercooler or not, I've owned it since 1998 and I love it. Intercooler itself is worth $300 easy if you can find one. $375

Transmissions:
Currently has a full race built automatic tranny with a reverse manual valve body. Tranny will RELIABLY handle 5-600hp. PM for more info. $1800. Tranny swap almost complete, just needs axles, speedo cable, tranny cooler, and some other odds and ends.

02A cable shift tranny from 16V Passat/G60-79K miles, came from a car with a broke timing belt. $175

O2A TDI Tranny- If you have to stay with a 5 speed, this is the box you want. The 3.18 Ring and Pinion gets the car up and running better than the other trannies. I really dont want to sell this box as it was an expensive tranny, but I really have no use for it unless I put a VR bell on it and use it in my other car. $375

O2A Tranny Bits: 02A flywheel, mounts, speedo cable and starter- $75 for all.

THE CAR:

Exterior

Decent body. Some dents. Drivers fender is the worst, but I have a brand new fender to go with it. Shaved banana holes and side trim. Some rust.
Big bumper conversion.
Smoked Hella tails with Euro Bulb Trays
Single round front end conversion with H4 lights, but I robbed the grille for my other car.

Interior:
Power windows
Black interior with red stripe dash.
Full gauges, oil pressure, water temp, volts and boost.
Full interior. All carpeting, door panels(red stripe), etc. Scirocco 16V seats. No headliner or back seat though. Car is NOT gutted. A/C was recently removed though.

Suspension:
5 lug 11.3" brake swap installed on front.
4 lug discs on rear, 5 lug disc swap will be included.
Not sure about the story on struts. It has AVO coilovers but I want to keep them but I cant take the Konis off my other car yet. That can be worked out.

Fuel System:
Holley Blue fuel pump feeding a surge tank. New SX Performance Pump and Filter to take fuel to the front of the car. AN-8 braided stainless lines on feed side, AN-6 return line. New SX Regulator. This is a 700HP fuel system. (will leave in car for additional $500).

Exhaust System:
Full 3" mandrel bent exhaust from Turbo to back bumper. Does not hang low on the street. Has Magnaflow stainless muffler.

Wheels:
Rolling on stock BBS 5 lug bottle caps in the front. Rear has donuts. Will toss in the BBS wheels for the rear to go with the brake swap. Also have a set of racing skinnies for the rear I will include for $50, and a brand new set of M/T 23x8.5" slicks for $275.

Will sell the car as a roller(not including any of the parts mentioned with prices) for $850. Its not cheap for a roller, but its not the usual bucket that should be on its way to the junkyard.

I will sell the entire lot...Car, Engine, all 3 trannies, fuel system, intercooler, slicks and skinnies..Basically everything mentioned on this page with the exception of my struts for $5Kobo. Its a serious chunk of change, but its a serious car. Set the rest of the car up right and you could run 10s no problem in a car thats not a gutted out hunk of shit..

May consider trade on later model VW, but Im not garunteeing anything. Absolutely no jap, GM or Dodge trades(unless you got a 60s mopar I might think of it).

Heres some older pics of the car. The wheels are gone:

I musta put too much writing in the description..LOL

So, 5K obo. Or as I said I might consider a trade on a later model car that I could sell to a..."broader audience"...I would just prefer a VW or Ford as a trade.

And yeah, that engine will work in a 87.. My car is an 86.. But obivously you will need to get an injection setup to use it.

Oh yeah, the engine block is out of a 92 Golf. The head/intake is from a 95 or so jetta. The crank is from an older 1.7L, rods and pistons are Forged Turbo pistons from an 86 Audi 5K Turbo.

Final resting place on the wiper depends on where you set the park position. So no, its not stuck.
I dont even think I have the single wiper on it anymore, which is why I stopped short of mentioning it. I *THINK* I robbed it for my 92, since the one I bought off the Vortex from some joker broke the first time I turned it on. I cant remember if I just yanked the one from the GTI or made one myself.

Ok.
I keep getting questions like this, soooooo...

The engine will bolt into anything with any VW from 1976-1998 at a minimum. But with any turbo swap, the fueling is up to you.
If you have a Rabbit or early Golf you have CIS injection(metal lines going to each injector from the air box). This head wont work with that, but its no big deal since going with a good turbo system means swapping over to EFI.
If you have a Digifant car from 88-92(has a plastic fuel rail that feeds the injectors and an air box) you will need to lengthen your wires for the injectors. Same with a Corrado. But because its turbo, you will still need to do EFI mods like a chip.
If you have a Corrado injection system, its pretty much the same as Digifant except you dont needa chip.

If you have a 93-98 Golf Jetta, the engine will go right in, you just need to upgrade the injection to handle a turbo.

Bump for an old skool turbo guy.... he taught me the formula for budget octane booster... half a can of this, a capful of that, shake it up and BAM, 98 octane.

Have you talked to Alex lately? I was thinking about his turbo rabbit the other day. :D

hahah....
Nope, havent talked to Alex in probably 2 or 3 years, havent talked to Coleman since probably 2000.... Jeff is doing really good these days, which is pretty funny considering all the shit people used to give him..

Well, the car is about 60% stripped now...

An old skool classic Tampa dub is about to be put down...
