My fastest, run #4, just .138 off FTD:

Run #1, I set the camera angle too low, but you can get a good idea of what is going on inside the car.

run #2

run #3

run #5, I forgot to turn the camera on. I also missed a shift entering the turn-around.

run #6, I think the tires and brakes were overheated at this point, I could smell the brakes burning when I finished my run. Bob had the same problem, but didn't take his last run.

Always interesting to watch multiple runs like that and notice the differences that make for faster times. Looks like 3 was decent, but you lost some time in the far turnaround?

Gotta get that auto-exposure focused on the brighter pavement at video start :)

Thanks for posting them!

Looking good. Your car looks much less twitchy than mine. Probably has a lot to do with the driver...

The original videos look much better and there is nothing wrong with the exposure. Google compresses them and ruins the quality, but it is free.

I have done a lot to the suspension to settle it down. I installed Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, a hollow 1.25" front swaybar, and disconnected the rear swaybar. I set the coilovers at full stiff in the front and full soft in the rear so I can get the most understeer possible from this setup. It now understeers quite a bit, but that just lets me use the throttle sooner. ;)

It's 150' wide and longer than you will ever need. Since you guys don't care about timers, you could run the events one way only and use the entire width. Sign up for the SCCA Brooksville event on the 26th and come check it out.
Go to www.myautoevents.com and search for Brooksville.

i would love to come out. i have new coilovers coming for my 240sx, as well as new front end suspension.

a little mishap with a manhole broke a bunch of front end stuff. so i'm busy replacing that.

with my other car, i would autocross as much as possible. i really miss doing it, so hopefully i'll be getting out there more often.
