looking for pre 86 4bolt 350

motor needs to be rebuildable or running and all thats really needed is the complete bottom end minus the pan for a engine buildup. im going to help my cousin build a new engine for his malibu. so if you have a 4bolt 350 for sale lmk how much.

i saw that. just looking for a stock 350 to start building on though. rather start fresh wit ha std bore block.

Well goodluck than. But if he plans on building it up nice. Might as well start good. This engine has less than 300 miles on it. Absolutely nothing is wrong with the bottom end. This is forged, so he won't be afraid to spray some nos on it if he decides. More Cubic inch more power. 650 isnt bad. You can't go cheap and expect it to last as a racecar.

i know, thing is he makes like $7 and hr and only works part time currently, so thats out of his budget, he plans to buy all the stuff as he is able too. prolly gonna take him quite awhile to get it done. plus he wants to do it himself. he's never rebuilt an engine before. anyhow, i know all too much about the cheap/fast/reliable formula. the longblock im collecting parts for for my supra with machine work and a few custom 1 off parts is setting me back ~$7k, then all the bolt ons which is prolly ~$4k+ then the th400 swap which is another $2k or so, plus what ive already spent, etc... i know i could have built a domestic for less, but it wouldnt be the same. plus i got my truck to work on when this is done.
