Yeah, Muddy and Bob were putting on a clinic out there today....! :)

After my cone slaughter, I ended up with a 130.6......fair I guess....not too many made it to the 12X.XXX's

P.S. I think I seriously screwed up my front left tire from under inflating it. Not from Sunday, but from Ft. Myers on Thursday. They had a very tight circle that I went around 26 times.

I destroyed my front tires on my cavalier a few years ago at the evo skewl at Ft Myers.

Sadly, I was hoping for a lack of competition at the event because the National Tour was going on. I saw it as a good chance to snag my first ever FTD. I missed it by a tenth (.138 seconds, but who's counting?), but it is the same old story. Someone faster always shows up. :lol: There was a BMWCCA event last year that was on the same weekend as the state championship and I had the same opportunity. Again I was second overall, but I missed FTD by 8 seconds! :lol:

Anyway, I spoke to Bob after the event and he asked me if I am going to the NASA event on 3/11. I said yes. He said good, I won't have to race against you there! :lol:

You had it all over Bob, though. He should be faster on Hoosiers regardless of your power advantage.

Thanks for posting the results, Muddy. It's also good to see the BMW club not only posting the official results quickly, but also including the OTHER class!

As always they have the longest, fastest, most wide open courses I've experienced.

I think those guys with video camera are going to post some stuff on baybimmers.com in the near future.

Bob's trying to talk me into some Hoosier's now :) don't think I have quite enough seat time to justify jumping to those.....fairly confident I'm still leaving some time out there on my RE070 street rubber.
