I was on my way home and he took off a from the light at WOT at tarpon ave on US 19 going north, I dont think he knew my car was a GST or if he even wanted to race.. but I saw him take off and follwed suit.. passed him by 70 shut down by 110 after we got over that big hill.. he didnt look over at me afterwards.. looked like an older guy

 Kelly Dixon style!

nah I'm a youngin 17.. I was fuckin up (jail visits, failing school, drug problem, horrible attendance) and my parents bought me the car back when I was doing very well at school and had a job..

long story short I really dont miss it too much.. it sucked having the keys to your car hung over your head. It was a good experience and was nice being 16yr old beating up on ppl twice my age :)

70 bucks from nopi gets you solid polyurethane motor mounts. invest in those and a symborski shift kit, probbaly the best 100 bucks you can spend on your car.

i ran a 14.0 with just a k&n and boost controller. with open downpipe and headlight removed i would have easily broken into the 13s on kumho all seasons and stock t25

I know your car is a 5 speed. The shift kit is a set of steel bushings that replace your factory rubber ones.

http://store.yahoo.com/machv/symshifkit1.html

This is definetly worth it. I used to miss alot of shifts cause of all the slop in the stock rubber bushings... and I was going to try to make my own kit with washers and JB weld (till I read that doing so can cause worse shifting..). Since I installed the kit I have yet to hit the wrong gear or bounce off the gate. I did notice that the bushings moved my shifter a few mm to the side comapared to stock, and it seems like now 2nd gear grinds if I pull the shifter against the side of the gate a little too hard. It never ground before. I think it's cause I can shift so much faster, and now the transmission can't keep up in that gear.

I'll have a few more mods next weekend. I'll be out roaming again
