I thought about running my car in the Stock Suspension class this year. I would be bringing a knife to a gunfight, but I thought about just running anyway and having some fun. That was until I put my car on the scales Friday and saw that I would have to add just over 350# to make the 3200# minimum. I am adding a small kit to my N/A combo to try and at least break into the 5's, but with all the added weight I will have to add, I don't think it is going to be worth it. :(

We'll see how it goes. I am going to finish installing the nitrous kit and retard box tonight and tomorrow night. If I can get it out to Sunshine Wednesday night for some test-n-tune, I might add the weight and go have some fun.

I've seen people make it through due to a number of reasons (car standing on the bumper, crashing into the guardrail, etc..)
Give it a shot, it's fun and you have a pretty good chance of getting your entry fee back most of the time.

yeah there realy is only a couple people that u dont want to pull up next to out there because even if they spin off the line they will still catch u or if they do go up on the back bumper they will still catch u and they are the 55 crew,troy with his 3rd gen camaro,c&c motorsports and project x witch is an old 5 colored chevy 2 witch might be at the next heads up madness if they get it done in time.

Stock Suspension Updated 3/3/06: Minimum weight 3200lbs. Any Turbo minimum weight 3300lbs. Big Block w/Nitrous minimum weight 3200lbs. Small Block w/Nitrous minimum weight 3000lbs.

i got a budget engine i'm going to try and put together.should get into the 60s or lower.dont want to push it to fair though seeing how i'm going to use a reg 350 block.
