If you do get crappy mileage, its because the engine wasnt designed too well comparitively with the chassis IMO.

2.0 engine is a bit small for the MkIII. I'm assuming you dont have the supplied 4.1 rear end that most of the lighter narrowbody overseas Supras have. Engine might be trying too hard to move all that weight :dunno:

Fuel filter is designed to be a "lifetime" thing and is hidden behind the gas tank...incredibly hard to get to without dropping the tank

naw power is fine, pulls strong, i have a 92 1G..at 11psi..all i have is full 3in exhaust and K&n drop in.maual boost controler but aint touching it yet...i like this setup , fuel milelage has been decent, but i also do have cut springs which wont help , bad alignment, bad plugs... i mean this also has a great affect on my gas..and well yea how much i hit full boost> hahah whcih during the Cold was alot ..

yea 300 miles to a tank aint bad. my CSI Sensor went bad in my car so the CSI was constantly stuck on like it was thinking my engine was cold 24/7 i was getting 150 to a tank during light driving. NOW THATS BAD. but a 2.0l in the mkiii that is quite a bit of weight. i mean yea it will pull ok but under normal driving its still a little more strain on the engine to keep the weight going a certain speed. now i get like 25-27 MPG on the highway and thats with a 7M and a shit 4.30 LSD rearend talk about revving high on the highway. good luck man. check for boost leaks maybe??

a fuel filter is supposed to last a lifetime now? wtf....lay off the pipe

if you 300 miles is good on a tank, i dont even get that.... change out your plugs for sure since you said they are bad, changing out the fuel filter and intake filter is also not a bad idea as it is maintenance that you wont have to worry about later down the road. if your car is out of alignment go ahead and fix that also unless you want to buy tires every month like i did :)

I'm serious...look into it. They were made to last longer than your usual fuel filter...intended anyways; whether or nor they last that long depends on what gets stuck in it. Supras (MkIIIs anyways) and some other Toyotas back then also had that type of fuel filter

Dunno if they still use them though

I am sorry but _ANY_ filter period will need to be replaced or cleaned at some point, especially on a car. Any filter that claims to last a lifetime is pure BS.. ANY filter out there will clog when shit builds up on it.. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

I know that...I just said that..they are built for "lifetime" use but its actually "extended" use and can still clog up

How many gallons does your tank hold? i would think you can get about 20-22 mpg on average on the 7m. my gas milage is ok...I get on average, mostly highway driving 25mpg on stock jdm 3sgte. I would make cruise control your best friend.

i dont have a 7m , i have a 1ggte..2.0 liter inline 6 twin turbo...i would figure it would be alittle better but lately iv been trying to only hit bout 7-8 lbs instead of 11 hahah

Hmm thats a weird engine code I've never herd of. Inline 6 2.0. Hmm I'm gonna look it up.

Yeah, we never got it. It was a lower end MkIII engine basically over in New Zealand, Japan, Australia, etc. 200HP or so, same as stock N/A 7M. Very rare engine not widely used, but also a worthy tribute to the original 3M engine in the 2000GT as they share very similar measurements (same square bore/stroke size)

yea its a straight Motor, very reliable tho ..and i love the sound of it . my motor being a 92 j-spec is rated at 210hp and i think 215tq or something like that stock @11psi..+ intake and exhaisut id say im at 230hp at the most if that , i need to get it dynoed, yes kirk i do know boutthw tire situation hahahah> fuel filter and plugs probally bwe changed thursday ..and ill let u guys know if there any differences, although my cleaning >Gotbored< did some good, quicker boost response and alittle quiter, its was just nasty in there, turbos still look very Good
