In Formula D series.

I read this article recently and I quote:

"You know I loved the Enjuku team wtih their Kumho red smoke tires (Just so you know they are no longer legal for the series)..." - Tarzan

Did they give reasons as to why they are no longer legal ?

Curious and interested to hear why.

The new Formula Drift rules state that not only do they have to be available to the public (which they did), they have to retail for less than $500 a tire (not even close).

It's not like Enjuku is getting singled out. The rules also include things like no "vertical panels larger than 100 sq in", which is aimed squarely at the Millen camp.

In my opinion, the Red's did what their goal was.
Being restricted for the 2006 season is not too bad of a thing.

yeah...they are just big promo thing..
to me..the tires main purpose was to get enjuku into the spotlight and stand out from the crowd..
maybe they can still use them on practice runs..

i am going to rename the red kumho's to "the Enjuku Edge" rawrrrr
