Last weekend I entered the eastsliders drift competition in Portland, OR. They judged 3 runs and kept your best score. Here are the results:

1st - Matt-Panic! (me), gold S13 coupe
2nd - Auto Art, black S13 hatch
3rd - Wes (Unnatural), gunmetal S14

cool. We can NEVER have a track like that. There were NO barricades besides them trees.
So who has more skills, Western or Eastern drifters? id say both are equal.

western are more skilled. They go to 20-30 events a year.

I think the problem is the lack of FL venues to want to do this sort of stuff. All the airports I've called are scared, most of the other venues I've talked to are "not interested". There will be more coming, I promise.

As for getting #1 - those results were rigged. You won because of who sponsors you ;)

As for me, i have one. I work at my family's welding shop.

As for everyone, they need better paying jobs.

Tried stpete airport yet? I drove by there and they had a huge mound of asphalt. I guess they just resurfaced a section of their road somewhere. They shouldve let us go out and burn our rubbers before they removed it.
