Tires?

I have a 99 z28 and am getting new rims soon, I plan on getting staggered 18's 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rear. I was curious with tire sizes I should go with, I was thinking 245/40/18 fr and 275/35/18rr but was curious if I could or put 315/30/18 on rear or would it be to wide?

a 315 is 12" wide, and your rim is 9.5" wide...

DO NOT GET 9.5 IN THE BACK, you will be kicking your self later. Get 10.5, then you can fit the 315, but you will have to beat the living hell out of the inner fender well.
