So I need to find something that its good at, I am the ultimate newb at A/C and too lazy to search for shit. Basically I want to try one of these autocross thingys and see what its about. Whens the next one? What do I need? And how much am I gonna suck and how do I learn to be good at it? etc etc etc...

Don't expect us to rehash all the newb info just because you're too lazy to search. ;) You don't have to search much, just look at the sticky posts in this forum.

If you're truly lazy and you have a safe and reliable car, it's simple. Find an autocross, get registered, get there, drive. You'll likely suck to some degree your first time out, most people do. How do you fix that? Just let folks know you're a newb, they'll tell you all you need to know. Ask to ride with other drivers and ask others to ride with you. Watch closely. Ask questions.

Have fun!

Sat, March 11th is the next event in St Pete. There are generally a good number of Subaru's at the event, so there will be people that can give car specific advice..... my advice is ride with as many people as you can in between your runs. Try and watch their feet and hands as well as the course.

You should come over to next autocross in St. Pete and meet the club. I can't believe you think you suck...the simple fact is that you are only against yourself for the first few times. You see, you'll end up being just happy to see that you made it to the finish and hearing your car number associated with your first run time.
