A little early this year but trying to give everybody as much warning as possible. Pre- registration is $40.00 for show car admittance, 2 armbands good for both days, access to all functions both days and night. Last year was a great year for us @ MINI MADNESS with the show and we want this year even better! Any questions or concerns call me or the MM hotline @ 941-366-9123.

wow this is early.....but u have my word on saying this is a awesome and big show....gone several years....i wish the import part of the show will open up a lil more though...any suggesstions on that?

What kinda stereo competioion do they have up there just SPL or do they do SQ and install too?

O.K. to answer all questions.
Yes I am in club, I am on the B.O.D.

We meet in Brandon 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month on SR60 by I-75 @ the Mickey D's @ 8:30PM. We will be trying to move it to Saturday to see how that works in favor of getting more people to attend more frequently. We go out to dinner afterwards and have a good time.
Call me first before leaving to make sure we have not changed the night. We will be playing broom hockey this weekend if anybody is interested call me.

We actually have more cars than trucks believe it or not. I am not sure what it would take to attract more other than more and ealier advertising which I will be doing.

We have a SPL formatted show we tried the SQ and install a few years but little response. Personally my favorite but I don't always win.

the only problem i had with this show last year was the un equal awards... it seamed like there were hundreds of trophies for the trucks and only a hand full for cars... but that was my only problem with it...

i had fun at the show. i was actually inside with my car both days and even got a picture of my car in feburarys edition of Truckin magazine...

but there were tons of sweet cars there like that compleatly tricked out RX7 and the sweet viper with all the air brushing... and that lambo was sick! i would definatly recomend going to see the show... but i dont know about puting your car in it!

what i meant on the import is instead of having import 2 door or import 4 door...open it up more such as honda, mitsubishi, nissan, etc.....i believe with the trucks u guys have it like that but not for the cars....only a thought
I have the same classes like that for trucks import & domestic mini and full size. The only real difference is open bed and closed bed for all trucks. You do not have that luxury with cars.
As far as breaking classes down to manufacturer that will never happen. This is not NOPI. This is a true custom vehicle show, I try to keep the classes down to as little as possible. If you win at SLAMFEST you won because you had the best presented vehicle not because there were only 3 cars in your class. We constantly battle over class breakdown every year. I think there is enough classes now but I do not know how to make all parties happy. If you want a guaranteed trophy go to a BK or drive in type show.

I understand....im not crying b/c i havent got a trophy...i have to go to shows and i will be at this show b/c of my sponsors...i really give 3 craps about the trophy but its funny how domestic win in the import category which has happen....but whatever u wanted comments so i provided comments....ur show will be added to my car club site to help promote it...will help promote the few friends i know in mini madness such as TC and others...

It does happen unfortunately that cars get misplaced sometimes. Its our fault we are all unpaid volunteers,friends, family, etc. Usually after Sat evening all of us in charge are pretty beat because we do not sleep Fri night prepping for the show. So for incedents like this I apoligize on behalf of MiniMadness, we are only human. Thanx for your comments keep them coming!

Hey dude. It is an awesome show and hope it continues to grow. Wondering about sponsoring and setting up a vendor booth. Can you give me any info. Southeast Nats??? where at and when? I was at springbreak nats took home 4th in my audio competition too..went to battle of the imports...not a bad show took 1st there..and what kinda sponosrship info? b.c im looking for a sponsor for my car..but if your talking about a company sponosring an event i mgiht know one thats interested..so eitherway let me know

I wish my truck was still in the condition it was a year ago...:(

People keep hitting it. One guy t bones my bed(fiberglass) so its all tore up, roll pan cracked, rims a lil messed up along the lip.

Got a new dent in my front fender just sitting in my apt. parking lot.

It just never stops, i wish i had a house with a garage and enough money to fix it all...

Maybe one of these years.well the show is kind of hosted by a minitruck club:lol: .but i am yet to see the imports organzie and actually showup big time at it.im sure minimadness will let them in as long as they pay the entry fee:lol: :lol: .i cant wait till slamfest tho.it is my fav show of the year,the atmosphere is relaxd at everyone has fun.

ive had my van in there a while back, i think in 99 but havent been up there since. It was the best show ive been to though, lots of cars. I would love to enter my van again but its not in a condition to be driving and i dont think i wanna have it towed there, cuz i would be coming from orlando.

Thanx for all the comments and interest! We are geared more towards show quality than just a pretty, fast, or even customized vehicle. We care more about the quality of work/craftmanship of the engine swap, suspension/undercarriage, interior, cleanliness of everything, etc. A show car is CLEAN 1st whether its a full blown drag car, daily driver, or a full blown custom vehicle. I like them all own a little of everything (Import car, mini trucks, classic car & truck). We are open minded to all makes and models whether its our taste or not.

i have a quick question. I was wondering if they are going to be holding an spl contest at the show. Ive heard a few different things and people saying there isnt going to be an spl competition this year. I wanted to know because a few friends of mine were wondering if they should go up, but they only would if there was going to be an spl competition.

lets set this str8,every year everyone asks this.yes there always is a audio competition they just drag their feet on getting the paperwork done,but every year an organiztion has showed to run it.personally,i will be there friday,kick it at the pool.and sorry i have no pics of jethros van,if you want to see it you can come out to slamfest.

General admission is still $10.00 unless they change it last minute. The Fairgrounds authority has been a real PITA since last year when new leaders came in. Price increases, less services, ridiculous fees, no doing this, no doing that, ETC ETC. Thanx for all your support I look forward to seeing all you out there and stop by my booth if you can!!!
