Not good. I knocked off .02 (60 ft) on average when I got it to stop. Anything that is not moving the car forward is a waste, squatting, lifting the front end. There are compromises though. Some need the weight transfer to get traction. But if you are dead hooking, it would be a complete waste to put in 90/10's. Your 60 would be worse after that.
It is also possible to get your front end to rise too fast.

As I stated in there its just a loss of foward momentum ...

A hard hooking car will just slightly rotate lift the fronts and carry themm through the 60 or past depending on power

You're right Mark, you don't want squat, you want the "tires" to take the hit.

well, when you can only get so much traction from small tires you might want it to squat. i run 26's and i need it to squat a lil to get traction, and specially when i'm on dr's
