View Full Version : If only I were rich
I'd buy this car (http://kintont.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=car&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewthread.php&pin=14044) in a NY second...This is a pretty well known car (http://naaklov.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=car&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewthread.php&pin=14044) and no doubt (http://nethrov.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=no+doubt&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewthread.php&pin=14044) the real deal.. I think he's just "advertising" it, but when he's ready to let it go it will, as they say, bring ALL THE MONEY! Probably only 2-3 ever made like it. Just makes me want to go out to the garage and kick my car (http://naaklov.com/index2.php?v4&v0=54&go=car&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tamparacing.com%2Fforums%2Fn ewthread.php&pin=14044) for being so wimpy!!!

Yeah, but if you owned that, you'd never drive it. Which car would you rather have dinged in the parking lot at Kash N Karry, you know? Leave the numbers matching rare cars to the collectors, and the run of the mill classics to the drivers, gearheads, hotrodders, and racers.
Yeah, tell me about it..I already have a car I can't drive without feeling a little guilty..I really went crazy last year and put almost 200 miles on it..
The Motion car is just one of those childhood fantasy cars that you buy just to say you own it I suppose..I remember putting together a model of a BM Camaro when I was about 10 years old that looked like that car.I think it was a 70/71 though. But hell, I also remember having a Farrah Faucet poster as a kid and I never ended up with her either, so there you go;)
Speaking of cool..For the Mopar guys there is a 71 Charger 440 mag for sale on ebay right now by a friend of mine out in Arizona. The car is a just a touch below trailor queen, but he's a chevy guy and doesn't want it. Anyhow, whats cool is that he's got video of the car from back in the early '70's with the original owner and a bunch of his friends putting on a burnout show at a local gas station. It's like a time warp seeing all those muscle cars in their "day 2" trim just being thrashed. I guess they even have the video on display at the Chrysler museum.
If you want to see a bunch of cool cars doing what they were meant to do check it out.

After the first couple of dings, you give up on feeling bad. My SS has its share of dings now, so I drive it whenever I feel like it. If it had A/C and a 5th gear, I'd drive it even more than I do now :D
After the 1st ding I'd be doing 10-20 years..Wouldn't matter after that:)

Build a clone that's faster, less than half the price, and that you can drive without going to church and repenting after :D
Roracer 70's car is a perfect example.
