doesnt matter - base your decision on the amps output power in stereo & mono

well some songs have different bass running through left and right.... so like with rock music some times stereo is better then mono for sound quality so you hear the full bass of the song. so it really depends on your music and you amp.

low fq are mono in sound - like notladstyle said depends on speaker ohms - wire to get most out of your amp...

Under 80hz is omnidirectional, so if you have left and right seperation coming from your subs you might want to think about some midbass/midrange

first, amplifiers in mono mode output BOTH channels to each sub.
Second, I dont know of any song that has varying output under 180hz.

Pretty Hate Machine CD (NIN), I wanna say Head Like A Hole or Sin had alternating bass hits.

That about sums up the discussion.

Iif you're gonna do two subs and one amp, I would just run them on seperate channels (stereo) so that the wiring is easier, but I don't know your situation...

It all depends on the amp channels, power rating, and sub configuration

Mono is the optimum set up for subs. Yes you need to match the impedance of the sub to the amp but that can be changed often be changed by how the speakers are wired.

IN a car.... with stereo subs... doubt it. Especially if you have a good set of midbass speakers up front in kick pods.

Iif you're gonna do two subs and one amp, I would just run them on seperate channels (stereo) so that the wiring is easier, but I don't know your situation... people that use terms like EASIER TO RUN wires, are the type that pull up and you normally dont know they have a stereo.lol.Everyone knows if you have a REAL amp,it will be monoblock.

in summary it does not matter which way you run them - just match the impedance of your amp's highest power output.
