Moving Back To Florida....Tampa Area!!!!

Hi Everyone!!! I was living in Ft.Lauderdale for about a year then I moved back to Mass and now I'm headed back! I can't wait to get back and I'm excited to be in the Tampa area and meet some new people!



What areas around Tampa are affordable? I have been looking into the brooksville/Spring Hill area and can find a new or almost new 2000 sq foot house with a garage for around 175K - 200K and thats what I'm looking for. Where should I be looking?????

well good luck on the house hunting.. nothing in or around tampa seems to be affordable anymore. Shit is way over priced. You may want to pm SCOTT on here as I believe he is a realtor and could show you around. Welcome to TR!

welcome back to Tampa and housing has skyrocketed. There was a national study done and published about a month ago stating Florida had increased housing costs beyond where they should be.

Spring Hill area is nice from what I have seen, it is just so far from Tampa that I couldn't live there.

South Tampa-Neighbor's house just sold for 250K, the new owner rents it out for 1K per month; meaning that in about 2 years he will own it for free!
........since the renter is making payments for him in the rent money.-Bob
