I got the wife a new ride over the weekend, '02 Denali. It has the 6.0L and for 5800lbs its not a slouch. I would like to tune it. Does anyone have experience with tuning one and know what mods it will respond to? I've seen the STS Denali at 470hp but not quite ready for that. Jeremy did my Camaro on the RevExtreme's Dyno but it needed him. I don't know if a stock Denali warrants his expertise.

I decided it needed Jeremy. He tuned it and it woke up big time. We made multiple passes loaded down with 3 adults, 3rd row seats, ... I used the gtech on our favorite testing strip. It ran 15.8 and 86 stock and after the tune ran 15.5 at 89. I lose 2 passengers and 3rd row seats I can drop about 450 lbs. Maybe high 14s on a cool night. Who wants some?

Sounds like good gains off of just a tune.

Funny but true. Actually I am trying to outrun my brother's RX8. The RX8 ran 15.2 at 90 at TRack day 12. I think both vehicles have a hi 14 run in them.

Denali ran a new best on the GTech 14.9 at 93. RX-8.....check.

B4C, you need to talk to Westers or Nelson tuning for your truck needs (see performancetrucks.net) I'd bet they'd get you a 1/2 sec or more off your 1/4. BTW, I'll take some just to see how my daily driver runs (5.3 LM7 CC/SB silverado and I've only got 3.42s). Livernos has a nice turbo set up for your ride as well. Come check us out at ls1truck.com too.
