My name is Chad Dion, I am the owner of SD motorsports in Englewood. We in conjuntion with Fast Truck Series are going to be putting on a series of Drift events but we need to see whos got it and who doesnt. So heres the scenerio.

The12th of Feb at Charlotte County Speedway we will be holding an OPEN event to judge skill levels. If you want to be involved with this event you must Contact me and register yourself. We are looking for more experienced drifters but all are welcome to attend, This will be FREE seat time. If you are coming here to just mess around and do burn outs....this is NOT for you, but if you are seriously interested in Drifting then contact me ASAP

Seeing as how I was in the first event that bobby dehl did (fast drifters) I want to know a few things before I come down there.

What does this judging/expo prequalify you for?
What is the payout/prize?
Is the track layout just oval, or infield as well?
Is this for the "fast drifters" FD-ST?
Is there more venues as well?
Is the "more events" refering to a 20min expo slot during sat night races?

1. Judgeing will be for the March 11th event to be held at CCS, The events will be full drift events were they will be judged and Payouts will go to the top 3 winners of the day.

2. Payouts have yet to be determined, We need to find out how many people are qualified to actually make a competition. There will be events held monthly Points will be awarded each month with a Champion at the end and a Championship Purse as well.

3. We will be using the WHOLE track to evaluate people, Im talking with Ken from Enjuku as we speak about Judging events ( Hoping for Mat and rob to judge)

4. Yes this is Fast Drifters, Bobby is trying to help us out and get us a Place to drift...so far I have not seen anything to believe this is a bad thing, My team has gotten mutiple days to have track time for FREE...beats paying 100 per time to drift.

5. The series will go on in many speedways through Florida, not just Charlotte County Speedway

6. Drifters will not be putting on an EXPO anymore, There will be a FULL timeslot allowing 25+ cars to be driven and battling it out for that nights winnings.

Come on guys, You all will go out and pay 75-100 to drift, Now we are going to get a chance to get PAID to drift...sounds good to me. We are looking for anyone who is wanting to get involved on a grassroots level, so EVERYONE has a chance to win. Just come out on the 12th and drive, hopefully the guys at Enjuku will be good enough to judge the top 25 and then we are set for the 11th of march. And Please keep the flames down...we are only trying to help the sport. lets keep this positive!

Im sure Rob and or Matt can be professional, and not have any Bias. The facst are they are one of the only groups around that have seen PROFESSIONAL drifting at its best.Not to mention the fact that 25 people leaves plenty of spots for people to get.

I'm going to spectate and help support this event.
The only downside I see in this event is the availability time that the drivers have; 9am to 2pm. That's only 5 hrs. But i guess by that time, everyone should have gone through a set of tires.

Ok. The location of it doesnt seem that far at all. The distance is like from tampa bay to lakeland.
Just a 90 min drive.
