Every Saturday night, there is no official time, we gathter in the Hooters parking lot. Most usually start to arrive around 8:00 p.m. but everyone is usually still there till like 9:30-10. Usually a pretty good turn out, between 20-30 cars. Just wished that people that came to the Sarasota meet posted on Srq-Racing. Anywho tonight was a nice cool night, just wanted some feedback on the cars out tonight. Didn't see the Vdubs out there tonight except a select few although VtecThis did drive by 3 times and once he parked. Most people i recognized but a few i had never seen. Although I know not everyone can make it out every week because of work, those of you who i know don't work, I wish you would just make it a habit. Thanks everyone for attending the meet and making it as big as it is now, hope that it gets bigger in the future. See you out there.

yeah the meets are cool..i wont be comming down until my car gets done, which im hoping will be done by this comming weekend.. one minor complaint i have, that i have found is ture pretty much no matter where u go is the fact that people get in there little groups and the groups kinda stay separate from one another, i mean it even happens up at QS & L...just human nature i suppose but beyond that the meets are fun..like i said hope to be out there next weekend with the system done.

 

Unfortunatly I've found it gets harder and harder to meet people as the meets grow. Maybe name badges would help with type of car below it.

But yea they got their groups like all meets and I wander around from one to another since most out there are cool people once you get to know them.

People tend to group together with people that they are fimiliar with.
Even though everyone has a common interest, they still feel more comfortable with the people they know. Kinda of silly but its just like being in high school again with clicks and such, but oh well maybe if every attends every week it will move past that. I don't even know the names of 3/4 of the people out there, although I do recgonize alot of the faces, kind of sad. We havea good variety of cars though, everything from Acura to Volkwagon ain't bad. Hopefully with time things will change.
