question on upcoming drift event

i have heard of this drift practice feburary12 which i think is on a sunday. has anyone heard of this? i was told the location is at the port charollette speedway. if anyone knows anything can u help me, or if i find anything out i will spread the word.;)

I never was told about this event, so i know nothing of it. Whats the info on it?

It's like ALL drift events are +2 hrs away for us tampa bayers. Nothing locally has happened since
DDay 1. Which was like 4 years ago.

Oh, besides lakeland, was ok, and auburndale event last year, which sucks.

yea been there and done that, from 8am to like 3pm, got a whole 4minutes of track time, its not centered for drivers who arnt in the fasttruck thing, it is NOT a drift event or practice.

p.s track is half the size of OSW and you can only go counterclock wise around the track.....

we have a event that is just driftin for the day. the whole idea is to get people to come out and register with our drift sereis. i understand that u came out last time and did a lil' driftin and the time was limited, thats b/c when u came the day was set up for the fastruck series, not drift. now we have dedicated a day for registration for our drift circuit and some driftin. i hope to see u all out there. evreyone that drifts is welcome. if u have any questions please call, 813- 817-7223 ask for bobby diehl.(he is the guy setting it up)

It's bobby's job to advertize this event, and spread the word out.
I think this event wont have enough drivers and will shut down. No price??? Im not calling bobby. Get Bobby on TR, and get his ass to post some info on this event.

I think this will be another Auburndale.
I remember taking that 90 minute drive to auburndale. when i showed up there, everyone was leaving because the event was cancelled.

Fastdrifters - I'm trying to work with Bobby to get these things in parking lots and stuff like that. Right now he seems pretty set on running on the ovals in between Trucks and figure 8's.

Im talking about Auburndale Speedway, Mike. Yeah, that day, me and Pineapple had a accident on the way back home. One of the wheel almost flew out. Rod up there with only 3 studs with nuts, then 2 nuts flew out, the car started to shake like mad. Yeah we were lucky that we didnt crash. Drove 50 mph the rest back home.
