Trying to find an older car to have as a project/daily driver. Pre-74 and a V8. Any web sites like Autotrader for just old cars?

Under 5k. Not looking for a total restored car. Mainly looking for a Mustang, Nova, chevelle, or a Fairlane, but open to many more. Found a beautiful El Camino SS but the guy didn't have the title and seemed real sketchy about havign to get it.

The DMV can reprint a title for you as long as you both show up there. I just went through that with my Torino. Costs $29 x 2 for two title processing fees, but whatever.

Yeah. I don't think it ever belonged to him. I think he just aquired it as a trade or something. He told me he never had the title. I'd be happy to just find a nice old car with no computer or useless electronics. I wish I'd never have sold my old Comet.

Yeah, shady, "Parts car," or, "Excellent track car," deal. I know what you're saying.
You're down in St. Pete/Pinellas Park, right? Go over to Biff Burger and check the wall to the right of the order counter. There are a ton of ads for old cars on there normally. I saw quite a few, on the cheap, last time I was down there.

Check out all the listings in there. I saw a few old Camaros, a '57 Wagon, and a few other goodies that caught my eye, all under $5k easy.
