Default Clicking noise on start up. S13

I have a KA24E. Whenever I start up my car for the first 5-10 minutes I hear a pretty loud clicking noise when idling/driving. The higher the RPM the faster the clicking gets, and then after the car has been on for a while (it seems as if it is after the engine is warmed up) the clicking stops. It's not having any idling problems or any noticable problems with performance, but if there is a problem I want to get it taken care of before it becomes a bigger one. I do plan on swapping an SR or at least dual cam KA in soon though, so if it is an expensive fix and I can just hold off until I can swap then that looks like the route I'll be going.

Any help/suggestions is appreciated.

I believe that sounds like timing chain tick (common on KA24E's). It can be fixed , but it will involve a timing chain job (wich is a bit labor intesnsive).

And the worst part about the single cam timing chain noise, Is that its probably eating its way through a water passage in front engine/timing cover.
