So after a lot of research I’ve narrowed it down to these two. I know they’re not in the same park but I think both have potentional. I’m looking for little show and a little go. I’m on a tight budget so it’s going to be one thing at a time. I know more about motorcycles than cars, but I want a car I can work on and learn. I listed a few things I thought were pros and cons. Ok there it is let me know what you think and don’t B.S. me I can take. Thanks.

Pros:
Plenty of them around to buy
Plenty parts and upgrades available

Cons:
Tegs are a dime a dozen
Going to take plenty of upgrades for show and go

Supra
Pros:
Stock power is great
Targa top

Cons:
BHG($$)
Parts seem to be hard to get
Finding a turbo Supra doesn’t seem so easy

 

Someone with a small budget, you never thought about fuel consumption with gas prices nowadays

depends on what kind of ratio of show to go you're looking for. if by "show" you mean a well waxed paint job and maybe a set of wheels, get the supra, cause it'll kick the everliving shit out of the integra in most races you can come up with for minimal amounts of money. if you're looking for obscene body kits, a loud ass stereo, 22 inch chrome wheels, and a cold air intake, for christ's sake, get the integra.

 

As for the BHG issue, get an HKS metal HG. Problem solved. I don't know what you mean about hard to find a Turbo Supra. They're all over, seems like there are more turbos than NAs. The Supras have timeless looks. I never get tired of seeing them, even in stock-bodied form. You can make lots of power from the stock motor, and you won't get tired of the targa, ever.
