i have the stage 2+ which is between stage 2 and stage 3 and that holds up to 540ft of tq. you must a monster turbo coming to need a stage 3

A stage 3 is overkill for any vf series turbo. You may want to rethink your choice and go with something more suited to your projected power levels if you still have time. Theres no sense in having to live with the drawbacks of a heavy duty clutch when your setup would be fine with something less.

+1. If you plan on a monster turbo and doing alot of roadcourse work, then the Stage 3 is appropriate. However, you will experience alot of shudder and daily driving is going to suck.

yo chris whatup? Yeah dude stage 2 is plenty and also make sure you break it in. Dude ditch the pulleys and get an uppipe, it is the single best mod for a wrx. Also get some sort of EM

I see that hes got an 05, so an UP is a bad idea if he doesnt even have EM yet. I wont be doing any power mods to mine until Ive got a fix for that shitty ol/cl delay.

You should try the ACT heavy duty. It will more torque than you will ever put out of the stock 2.0 liter. Plus it is cheap!

thats an overkill

I don't see how it is overkill when it only handles 411lb/ft of torque.

The Spec 2 holds 470lb/ft.

if it's an 05 wrx tranny, exedy REPLACEMENT. you can get them on ebay for about $35 iirc. you dont want to go to a stage clutch on a stock wrx tranny. that extra shock is not going to be good.

if it's an sti or sti tranny stage 2.

spec stage 3s are great, the pedal feel is near stock.
