Since I had my turbo back on my car I could never fill my gas tank completly. 3/4 was all she wrote, and I just installed OEM STi turbo back on the car 2 tanks empty to full right on the FULL Line? I have heard others commenting on this but never head a deff how come? Possibly the weight difference makes the float stick? I am using the same gas station, same price of gas, same pump even. :dunno:

Same here. I have had the needle sit between 3/4 or 3/4 and full right after I have filled up.

At least in my experience, I think it's coincidence it was ok once you went back to stock tbe.
I had this exact same problem when my car was bone stock, no changes of any kind on the car. The dealer replaced either the sending unit or the fuel pump, I forget which, but I think the fuel pump.
It helped a lot with the problem but it still popped up occasionaly. However since going with an aftermarket fuel pump (knock on wood!) I have yet to have this problem reoccur.
This problem has occurred with others as well, just search iwsti and nasioc. Some people have found out that if you totally shut off the car (as in no turbo timer counting down or radio on) and take the key out of the ignition it seems to take care of the problem. At least some times. Ymmv. :)

There was a thread on this months and months ago on IWSTI so you aren't the only one with this problem. IIRC, it had to do with how the gas tank is shaped?

I forgot to mention this in my previous post: This also happens to me, but it goes all the way up later on.
