Default Power window and lock housing

How do you take the cover off to the power window and lock housing on the doors? It is just one screw and when I took the screw off I tried to wedge it off but no success. I didn't wnat to tear it up in case there is something holding it from the underside.

How do you do this?

The reason I am doing this if you are curious cause it is a little cracked and I was going to make an aluminum one in it.

it will come out that way, pry out from the side with the screw. easiest way is to remove the armrest, theres 2 10mm bolts and one screw holding it on, once you have the armrest off you can unscrew it from the housing

then you have to remove the armrest, just remove the 2 10mm bolts and screw, once the armrest is done, then you can get to the screws holding the switches to the plate
