Me and vince had a chance to go at it again. We start at around 50 or so(2nd gear pulls), till about 140 ish. I let out at around 140 at least. Its the same thing every time. He stays a bike length out in front of me every run. To be honest, i dont have a clue as to why? His is stock other than a pipe. Ive got 1 more mod and that being a K&N filter. He weighs more too :D Guess i suck at driving and hes fucking michael andretti of bikes  Oh well its fun as hell runnin. Vince you run mikes 750 more than once?? Outcome?

K&N filters are known to actually LOSE horsepower on most sportbikes. That HP loss combined with the small gain he has from a pipe is probably the main reason. ALso the fact that every bike is not excatly the same......maybe you have a "Friday" bike..........

:D Good runs, my bike pulled on the new gsxr 750, too. Most of the time he just took off though and we didnt get an even start until the last time we all raced and it looked like i put a couple bikes on him.
Yea I'm sure I weigh probably 50 more lbs than you, maybe time for you to do a valve adjustment, or how long has it been since you changed that oil or lubed than chain? :)
Btw, maybe it has something to do with how you shift? I know we both clutch it, but I hold down the gas between shifts.

I'm at 1600 miles on my oil and have never lubed the chain, Once i start maintaining this thing, I'm gonna beat you worse,
Btw, i forgot to mention, how did you like that off ramp turn speed? 115mph, only reason i slowed down and lifted toward the end of the turn is because my foot that was sitting on the side of the peg slid on the ground. :-o

Yes they are known to lose hp if they are carburated if they are fuel injected they gain hp I cant remember if they are carburated or fuel injected. If its carburated put some bigger jets in there and you should beat him easily.K&N filters are known to actually LOSE horsepower on most sportbikes. They are both fuel injected... supposed to be identical bikes. He has a Micron slip on and k&n and i have a two brother's carbon pipe.

Found out b4 i left lube that there was a nail in my tire, glad I didn't try to rip any turns, the tire was pretty low on air and I thought it felt a little loose when i was turning moderately. I'll take care of the oil/chain lube and tire this weekend, just gonna buy a new one. Then we'll have to run again. :)

Not that it's a money problem or anything, but would you want to spend About $200 on a tire when the one you have still has good tread on it?
