 (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=4#)Hi everyone, I'm a bit of n00b, but hope I can contribute to the forums. I drive an 05 MINI S, so anyone is welcome to ask questions, but first I have one of my own: What is the general stance on the MINI S as a car? (i.e. performance or styling) I searched and found some like, dislike, and general curiousity on the car, and was just wondering what people thought. Oh yea, and its always nice to see awesome cars on here that I haven't seen around town yet. :bigthumb: (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=4#)

Welcome to TR.
Since you asked, some people believe the new minis are
skinned over BMW's.

I have seen the original mini's kick some butt in SCCA.

What's most important is what YOU think of the car.
What do you like best about them?-Bob

Well Bob, nice of you to ask, I must say. :bigthumb: (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=4#) I actually like the fact that there are so many options from the factory that having two MINI's configured with the exact same options within the same state is slim to none. Now having them similar is another thing, I've seen a few that look almost the same, but there are atleast 5 or 6 different options between us. I absolutely loe my car and anyone can say all the crap they want about my car b/c you know what, at the end of the day I'm happy with it, so screw them. :finger: (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=4#) (That wasn't saying you were talking crap by any means, just my opinion on people talking negatively about my MINI:) ) On a lighter note, I also like the fact that most people I run into don't know too much about them. Keeps things interesting, especially if they wanna run...at the track, of course. Oh about them being "skinned over BMW's," I have yet to drive a BMW and have as much fun as I do in my car. Yes, I do like BMW's but they just don't have the "feel" of my car; they don't make me smile, except the ones that start with the letter "M." :D Have a good one, JP
